Participants took part in a structured 10-week group programme with cultural activities two to three times per week. At \u00d8stfyns Museer, the programme was offered at both Nyborg Castle\/Borgmesterg\u00e5rden and the Johannes Larsen Museum.<\/span><\/p>\n In 2023, \u00d8stfyns Museer took part in a project forcused on providing dementia.friendly cultural activities. The project was funded vu the Danish Social Services Agency and aimed to ensure accessible communication of culture and history at care homes and day centres. In addition to \u00d8stfyns Museer, 21 other cultural institutions participated in the project.<\/p>\n Subsequently, several staff members at \u00d8stfyns Museer completed a training course and were certified as dementia friends. In 2025. the museum received funding from the Danish Agency for Culture and Palaces for a project on local outreach to citizens with dementia. This project is carried out in collaboration with Langelands Museum.<\/p>\n We offer the following programmes for citizens with dementia: We offer talks and guided sessions tailored to specific topics on request.<\/span><\/p>\n We have developed a <\/span>guide<\/a>\u00a0to support visitors with autism and their families before and during their visit to Borgmesterg\u00e5rden. The guide helps visitors prepare for the museum experience and what they will encounter.<\/span><\/p>\n Close collaboration with Nyborg Full-Day School, where educational programmes for children and young people are developed.<\/span><\/p>\n For the exhibition at the Johannes Larsen Museum in 2024, funding has been granted for an educational programme for families and young people. During the programme, participants are introduced to<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Fritz Syberg<\/a> and have the opportunity to try artistic practice themselves. The programme is aimed at families and young people who wish to get to know the museum better but may not previously have had the opportunity to do so.
